A-Z's of me.

I borrowed this idea from another blog. Thought it would be kind of fun!

A. Age: 24 and almost 1/2
B. Bed size: King. It's heavenly, but will feel very empty when B leaves for training in a couple of weeks =/
C. Chore you dislike: Cleaning the shower. It takes waaaay too much energy to scrub all those little tiles and grout!
D. Dogs: 1.5 yo German Shepherd named Klaus. Basically the most chill dog ever!
E. Essential start to your day: COFFEE. I remember several years ago I was warming up for a morning lacrosse game and was having a very hard time catching the ball. So I thought to myself, what is going on? I got plenty of sleep last night.... Oh yeah! I didn't have my coffee! bad bad
F. Favorite color: Orange. "Orange is the happiest color." - Frank Sinatra
G. Gold or silver. Silver or white gold. or platinum. or gold. or anything shiny.
H. Height: 5' 9”
I. Instruments you play(ed): Clarinet and base clarinet in middle school. I played piano when I was young and sometimes play around on my mom's piano, but wish I would take lessons now!
J. Job title: Environmental Compliance Specialist (or air quality meteorologist). lame. i know. Starting school soon to become a high school chemistry teacher (and/or environmental/earth science) and excited about it!
K. Kids: None. Do not want. I keep thinking if I just give myself pep talks starting now, perhaps in 5 or 10 years I'll change my mind...
L. Live: Marietta, GA
M. Mom’s name: Barbara
N. Nicknames: Kate, Katy bug, Katrinkin and Crotch (from my rugby days, long story)
O. Overnight hospital stays: None so far! So grateful!
P. Pet peeves: Breathing in my face while chewing gum....yuck! Also, when Klaus and I are out, and someone with a little, overly aggressive, short-man syndrome yap dog comes near me and then gets scared when Klaus barks back. All he's thinking is "yum look at that tasty snack!".
Q. Quote from a movie: I can't say that I have a favorite quote from a movie, but I have a story about a quote. So...about 10 years ago my mom gave me a t-shirt for Christmas with this old Chinese man on the front and it read "Here's looking at Euclid" (I was taking Euclidean geometry at the time). So I smiled and said "Aw, thanks, Mom!" (totally not understanding the joke here...) Fast forward 8ish years when I finally watch Casablanca with Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman and one the last lines in the movie is "Here's looking at you, kid." Bing! Lightbulb! I finally understood the shirt and now I wear it with pride! So, "Here's looking at you, kid."
S. Siblings: One big brother (26), and two younger sisters (15 and 17)
T. Time you wake up: Depends on the day. Usually somewhere between 5:30 and 6:30am. Hardly ever later than 8am (even on the weekends)
U. Underwear: Nothing fancy.
V. Vegetables you don’t like: I like most vegetables..can't really think of any I strongly dislike. I don't care too much for brussel sprouts.
W. What makes you run late: Taking the dog out last minute. And Atlanta traffic.....which is AWESOME right now because ♪♫♪ schoooool's out for the summer!
X. X-rays you’ve had: Teeth
Y. Yummy food you make: I don't cook too much...pancakes? I'm really good at making frozen pizzas! =)
Z. Zoo animal favorites: I don't know...the gorillas are pretty awesome but who could pass up the pandas....omg they melt my heart!
